The 2015 Lake Michigan Credit Union Bridge Run provides you the chance to see some of the best sights in Grand Rapids.  Whether you pick the 10 Mile Run, 5K Run, or 5K Walk your journey will start in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids at Rosa Parks Circle.  From there the course will take you over the city's historic bridges, along the Grand River, through parks, and back to the finish on Monroe Center.

First time participating in a 5K or 10 Mile Race?  Not a problem, this year we will focus on helping you reach your goals with free training programs and advice!  For those looking towards a fall half marathon or marathon, the Lake Michigan Credit Union Bridge Run is timed in the training calendar to help you build speed & endurance.  For the speedsters, we offer a cash prize for the 5K & 10 Mile Run.  There truly is something for everyone at this year's Lake Michigan Credit Union Bridge Run.

In 2014 our generous sponsors and the record setting 1,891 participants helped us raise over $10,000 for local charities.  With your help, we look to provide even more support for the wonderful organization that help those in our community.

Race Director's Corner

Summer is now in full swing, which means the planning process for this year's Lake MIchigan Credit Union Bridge Run is as well.  We are getting excited to have everyone join us again this year.  On July 6, the training plans for the 10 Mile will start.  You can find those plans, along with other helpful training tips and resources by going to our TRAINING section of our website.  These free resources will not only help you achieve whatever goal you have for this year's Bridge Run, but also help create a healthier you.  Feel free to send these resources on to your friends and check back as we will be adding a course video and other items to help you!

In addition to getting the training plans set, we are working hard to secure pacers for the 10 Mile, volunteers for the aid & spirit stations, and all of the other things you expect from us on race day.  If you have any thoughts or ideas, feel free to share them with us at lmcubridgerun@gmail.com.

Looking for other ways to be out and active with friends and family this summer?  Make sure to check out our other RunGR events, the Magic of the Mile on July 14 and the Cross Country Team Challenge on July 30.  Both of these races are only $10 a person and bring you back to the basics of running and cheering others on.
