Grand Rapids, December 12th, 2009:

Same members, same vision, fresh new name!

After many years of existence as Rungazelle.com, the popular Grand Rapids running club seeks to establish a new identity with a fresh new name & a fresh new look. As the club continues to grow, there has been increasing confusion between the local running store that is one of its sponsors, and the independent non-profit running club. This change will allow each organization to solidify their own identity, as well as allow the club to grow locally & nationally.

RunGR.com will:
•    continue to serve the local running community in Grand Rapids
•    continue to support local charities through fund-raising efforts
•    continue to host the Bridge Run as the official fund-raising event for the club
•    continue to use the feedback of it’s members to improve on the programs it offers
•    continue to bolster it’s services & visibility within the community with an aggressive marketing campaign
